IR Remote Control 2.9

The Universal IR Remote Control app allows you to conveniently use your smartphone as a remote control for various home entertainment devices. With this app, you can easily control your TV, DVD player, VCR, or set-top box using the infrared (IR) emitter on your phone.

Currently, the app supports control for a wide range of devices, including LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and more. However, the developer is continuously working on adding support for additional devices. If your device is not yet supported, you can request it by using the "Send Feedback" option in the app's menu. The developer prioritizes adding support for devices that are requested by users. Additionally, if you encounter any issues with the app's compatibility with a particular device, it is recommended to provide feedback to help improve its performance.

The Universal IR Remote Control app has been tested and confirmed to work effectively with Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones when controlling Panasonic and Sharp TVs.

To utilize this app, your phone needs to be running Android 4.4 (KitKat) or a later version and must be equipped with an infrared transmitter. Some phones that have an IR Blaster built-in include Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, S4 Active, S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, Note 3, Note 8.0, Note 10.1, Tab 7.0 Plus, Tab 2, Tab 3, Galaxy Mega, HTC One, and Lenovo Medion Lifetab S7852. Please note that LG G2 is not supported by the app due to its proprietary closed interface which differs from the standard Android interface.
